Boxing Day 2012

So I asked a question in my first blog, "does anyone actually read these blogs?" and my answer would be no..
I've got a new blog now on wordpress.com because I forgot I had this one...So feel free to follow me on there. I've grown in my writing and it's not as awful as the rubbish I've already written on here (and very tempted to remove..)
But I guess I could try and write 2 blogs...

So for Boxing Day, I've been to work. double time and 3/4 pay, yes please! That's the wonderful wonders of Australia :)
I've been here for 5 months now, and I am loving everyday of it! I'll be very sad to leave. I've made some exciting new friends of whom I hope to keep in contact with for a very long time.:)

Santa was awesome to me yesterday..only 364 days until Christmas again! woo!

Monday Bank Holiday! 4/6/12

Been a busy little bee recently!
Finished 6th form. Words cannot describe how happy this makes me. I know I'll miss it in the end, but I'll miss the structure, not the actual 'learning'. And I haven't really finished as such, still got 2 exams left - of which I know nothing. hurrah.
I did my "theatre studies" or whatever (drama to me) on Thursday. Could have gone better, but I'm all for blagging and making stuff up...I mean you can't really revise for a written drama exam because you might have a really good idea, and then as soon as you see a question you're just like...OH THIS WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER..so yeah...it's kinda hard.
Psych next. shit.

To take my mind off exams I'll be heading off to camp in a field in Donington..BRING ON DOWNLOAD! I actually cannot wait! :D planning the bands I want to see and hoping there's no clashes! I'll be so sad if there is...To be honest, there are bands I want to go see just to say I've seen them :D I do love camping though, except the whole washing in a communal shower, kinda weird, but beggars can't be choosers right?

I've also found a new band which my friends mum told me about...I Divide. they're actually really good! I could listen to them all day :)

So I'm gonna do nothing today - well I have a concert, but other than that :) not a lot!! :D

But I guess I should get dressed..

Today has been cloudy and grey (surprise!) but just as school finished it brightened up :) Had to walk home today...which is fine, I like walking, but my folder of Psychology work is quite literally the weight of a toddler. I swear my arms are dead now. But that's okay, in like 3 weeks or something it'll all be over and I'll be free from school for good. ever. finished. That feels so good to say :D

So today! I actually went swimming with my mum :) now I'm probably the most unfit person ever...but besides that, I managed 100m without stopping. granted I slowed down considerably after 50m haha, but for going swimming for the first time since like August, that's pretty good going I think...Well I think it is, so that's all that matters! Hopefully I'll be able to go more often soon too :) that'll be fun! I'll be doing 200m without knowing soon enough! Maybe a bit too ambitious..
I also managed to kill my dog Marley from an intense game of fetch on the field today. I had 2 tennis balls, and one of those ball throwers? the curved stick with a ball cup at the bottom? Well, with 2 balls, as soon as Marley brought one back, I threw the next one....we did this straight for about 10 minutes? poor doggie. Well he's getting fat...if I do this everyday for the next couple of weeks it should be fine right?! until he keels over...haha, I joke.

Anywho, I went out for another friends birthday last night, it was good actually, apart from her insisting to buy my drinks! (who does that on their own birthday?!) she legged it to the bar at one point, but I did manage to buy her a drink of two! I got her some awesome soap which looks and smells so good you just wanna eat it...and 3 bath bombs (which I'm not inclined to use as I like the look of them too much...) and a cute little bottle of Smirnoff and 2 purple lip bars. I was super excited for her to open the last one because she's wanted them since March, so being the best friend I am I got them for her.

She bought the exact same ones 3 hours before I got them for her.
Talk about facepalm.

So anyway, we were at The Lattice House, and I guess people were leaving and it was nearing closing tie 'cos the kitchen staff were cleaning. Apart from loving the music they make, they make me smile because they're from Kings Lynn, which is where I live, and to get as big as they have, well, from here not much of that happens, it's farms and chavs here I'm afraid to say. So to have them come from here kinda makes it seem that it's possible for the unexpected and seemingly impossible to become possible.

That's it for today I think..Might actually go do some revision now.

looking...

okay so I've spent the last half an hour or so looking for new blogs to follow and read (took me about half an hour to work out how to do it!) and so far, I've found 1...
It's not that I'm fussy ('cos I kinda am) it just seems to be that blogger/blogspot whatever you want to call this website is showing me all the wrong ones...there seems to be a lot of religious people and blogs about peoples children, which don't get me wrong, I think is adorable and cute, but it's not something I want to read about...each one to their own I guess...but the "next blog" thing has a habit of finding 1 blog and then showing me about 20 more which is related to it, and I'm just like *facepalm* really, so if anyone knows how to find blogs by searching labels, that would be cool.. :)

Miserable day again...

So my extended weekend! spent too much money..haha

Lets get started!

So, Friday afternoon I got my nails done, I realise this isn't

 a great picture but nevermind. You can kinda see :) they were quite expensive actually! but worth it, only problem now is I have a blackberry and I can't use it very well with nails..I can't really do a lot actually with my nails...but I'm getting used to them! :)

I watched the Dictator on Friday for my friend's birthday. It wasn't quite what I was expecting, I mean it was okay, but I still say Ali G is the best film Sacha Baren Cohen has done...and after wikipedia'ing him, I just learnt he's the voice of King Julien XIII in Madagascar! who knew?! 

We also had a nando's! man I love that place. I still have half a chicken in the fridge, I should probably throw that out now...it was good though! I had the same waiter from when I last went, and we met again on a night out in town and it was really weird 'cos I knew him, and he knew me and we both gave each other that "I recognise you" look...awkward... but I gave my friend her birthday presents; 32rashers of bacon and a litre bottle of Malibu...mmm yum! I realise this isn't much, but I still have a plan for the rest of her present :) speaking of, I have my other friends birthday tomorrow...and I have no idea what to get her?! I might pop into town now...well, in a bit...(=

So after nando's we went back to the cinema to get ready to go out, but we didn't go anyway...so I went to bed instead :)

But saturday was fun :D she had a fancy dress party, cartoon character themed, so I went for a Minion from Despicable Me :) and thats Kate, she was my partner.. :D it was a very good night, 50p for shots?! don't mind if I do thanks! haha, and then we headed off to chigs! it was packed seriously. I hope its not like that on thursday, but if it is, I guess it won't matter too much if I'm drunk? 

And that's pretty much my weekend? with work in between partying of course.

Had a driving lesson today. oh my gosh I'm still terrible in this new car..but I'll get there, changing from diesel to petrol is not something I'll be doing anytime soon again ahah :P but I managed to do a turn in the road, reversing into a parking bay and reversing round a corner properly with minimal help (and a bit of stalling, but who cares?)

So after all this excitement I guess I should fit some revision in soon...but 2 weeks left of school?! man thats some crazy stuff right there!! 

Talking of crazy...if anyone here is a Vampire Diaries fan..OH MY GOD. I caught up with the rest of the series last night and I was in floods, honestly I could have kept a fish alive! When Alaric said he wasn't going to complete the transformation..I couldn't stop crying, even though I knew that he was gonna change anyway?! the way they filmed it and put it all together with the music...oh, it was just so sad! and then when Klaus died, and Caroline went to find Tyler and he was trying to be so strong for her..but what happened there? I got a bit confused if I'm honest? how'd he survive?? and then Elena's death....just topped it off really, and how they did the flashbacks to the night her parents died...man. It was such a good finale! Bring on season 4! Until then, I guess I'll be catching up with Greys Anatomy, which, is also stupidly sad!

I think I've rambled quite enough now..I will eat my chocolate buttons and write an essay now for psychology or drama... :(

Almost the weekend! 17/05/12

Thursday afternoon, it's a bit grey outside..but that doesn't put the birds off! I walked home today from school and I thought about what it would be like to be a blind person (weird, I know) but it was actually pretty cool! If you just stand there for a bit with your eyes shut and focus your attention on your hearing it's amazing what you can hear! The birds are always coo-ing and tweeting (and they're actually quite loud!) but I guess growing up with the constant sound of them makes us forget and not take it in..It's a bit like that at my Nana and Grandads.. they have 14 clocks (grandfather/grandmother/wall/standing ones etc!) and they ALL chime. but never quite in sync with each other, they go on for about 5 minutes. and they chime for the time, so if it's 7pm they'll all chime 7 times, sounds like a nightmare or a form of torture really...but when I'm there for like 4 or 5 hours, I've missed all of them! I'm so used to hearing them that I don't even notice them anymore. I think it's quite sad really :( but going back to my point about being blind!! it's a really cool thing to do, but it's quite a challenge! have a go :)

I've got a driving lesson today, quite nervous tbh..I've got a new instructor (South African!) and I'm worried that what I already know I'll forget and I'll look like a complete idiot :L but oh well. I'm also worried my other old instructor will be on the roads and see's me...! We had a bit of a miscommunication...so I got a new instructor, but then we sorted it all out (I think...) so I will see how it goes with this new guy...

Oh! I titled this "almost the weekend" for a very good reason...Not only is it a fact (and a very nice thought) it's also one of my best friends birthday!! She'll be 18, and I'm showing her the ropes of the town Saturday night! She's having a birthday party on Saturday which is fancy dress - totally copied me - ahah, yeah -> thats me..and for those who don't know who I am, I'm Sailor Moon!! or at least..trying to be :D haha. anywho! This time I will be dressing up as a minion from Despicable Me. I know. I'm cool. haha, I'll post a picture on sunday :) I'm completely stumped as to what to get my friend for her birthday though. I have a jokey present (which I won't say until sunday! - just incase she's managed to work her way onto here...not that she knows I have a blog...maybe I should tell her...later...) But yeah! I wanted to get Premier Seating at the Norwich Odeon to watch Beauty and the Beast, but from the looks of the website it isn't on next week..but I'll double check :3

To wrap things up today, I'll make a last little note about my sister Annie. Somehow, (god knows how or why) she and her friend Laura managed to get a flight to Australia with an 18hour waiting change over time in Dubai....I thought 2 hours was bad when I went last year!! But they've made it to Perth safe and sound :) It is nice to have a quiet house! - kidding. - but yeah, gonna miss her! 'til we skype at least! I'm mega excited to be going to Oz though! I really should get that sorted soon aha :L

one more thing...

Okay, so I wasn't quite finished with my blog beforehand, so I'll write an add-on to it.. makes it seem less to read right? :)

So I recently got Spotify, and it's amazing! I have pretty much everything I want to listen to (legally). such a good idea. round of applause for the creator please.

I also added my link to this on Twitter, I really don't care what people think about what I write about because it really is me writing down whatever I've said during the day, or the past week...(months in this case...) so if you find this annoying, you therefore find me annoying...cheers. Nah I don't care. I've literally just gone past the point of caring about what people think of me anymore. 

Why should it matter what I look like? Just because I don't have massive boobs, slim body, small feet, the right hairstyle, the right height, a nice nose, big eyes, nice teeth, good sense of fashion whatever. I may not have ticked all of your boxes, but if that's what people are looking for, they're never gonna be completely happy. I get that being 5ft 11 is taller than the average girl, and yes, I hate being this tall. and yes, I do hate the fact that I'm bigger than I'd like to be. But they're my problems that I don't show or overly care about anymore. So if I look happy how I am, why isn't that enough for someone to realise? Maybe it's just Kings Lynn...to be honest, if people in Lynn have standards, that's news to me. It's a miracle people here aren't born with two heads tbh. Maybe that was a bit mean...

So yeah, I'm not perfect. In any way. But I've given up caring because at the end of the day, I'm going to be the one who's happier than those who constantly worry. 

I also have the BIGGEST respect for those who have achieved their grades and stuff for A-Levels. The committed and dedicated people deserve so much respect it's unreal. Like, I don't know how you guy's all do so much revision?? Maybe it's just me? but I've seriously lost all motivation to even get out of bed, let alone revise something I now detest. I mean, I tried so hard in year 12 for my Psychology exam, and I got 2 D's..so I resat it this year, only to get a D and U, even though I tried like 10x harder this time! (I really did..I'm not just saying that...I'll post a picture of my notes I made. They're all colourful and pretty.) So, I've kinda just lost any sort of motivation and care I had..and I'm not quite sure why... so I can't wait to be rid of shit form and get on a plane to Australia for 6 months.

I've rambled and procrastinated quite enough tonight..

Woah, it's May..J really do suck at writing this everyday hahaha. nevermind, I'm here now.
Whats new? Let me tell you...

Firstly, I'm 18! this is awesome. my bank account doesn't agree with that statement however. on the upside, I can legally drink, which is wonderful :)
Secondly, I got a laptop, hurrah! it has everything I want on it, but I'm not sure if it'll play the sims 3? - hoping so! love the sims so much, but I think I could easily lose my non-existent social life...
Moving on..

I have a blackberry..I'm humming and haaaring about it, I've had it since september, but it get's quite annoying at times...it does the job, so can't complain really, might downgrade next time, get an old brick..yeah..the camera's awful on a BB though! can't believe it.

I NEED TO RING APPLE! I've been saying this for weeks, maybe months now. But I hate ringing people ._. I'm such a loser yes I realise this..but isn't it always awkward when you can't understand the person on the other end?! or you can't explain what you want from them...either way, I must sort this once and for all. unless someone on here knows how to fix an iPod touch? all I want to know is if when it sync's to the computer, does it save the notes and pictures automatically? and if yes, where?! thanks :)

Right, so I get that people have their own taste in music and whatever, and that's fine by me, I haven't got a problem with that! infact I would promote that...but one thing I can't actually stand is when people rip bands you love or take the piss out of them. I mean come on. whats the point? they're obviously doing something right if you know who they are. like, I actually LOVE Black Veil Brides. and I get that, like all bands, some people don't like them...fair enough. But coming up to me and telling me that you "f*cking hate them" and thay they look like "a bunch of gays" is rather insulting to me as well as them. I don't care what they look like. I don't care what you think. I like them, thankyou for wasting your breath on an opinion I don't give two flying ducks about. so thankyou, and jog the merry f*** on...because I'm sure as I voice a negative opinion about one of your favourite bands, all hell would break loose. So yeah, learn some respect for other people. morons.

This is the most exciting news ever :D Black Veil Brides, Tenacious D, The Prodigy, Metallica, Black Sabbath, You Me At Six, Biffy Clyro, Killswitch Engage, My Passion, Yashin...and so many more!! seriously!! oh my gosh! 23 days! I haven;t even got a tent yet! shiiiiiiit! ><
I made a list of things I need to buy up until august...and it isn't cheap...

Flight and spending money for Majorca....

It would appear there's some grovelling I'm gonna have to do...
